- Upfront this is early access, 0.6.1.55. Probably 50-70% of the content is available.
- After 10 hours of gameplay, there was four glitches which were only minor inconveniences. This brings tears of joy to my eyes.
- The game description is quote, “Arachnophobia. The Game. The Sequel”
- The story isn’t anything special. Spiders are taking over the multiverse, you must stop them as the exterminator traveling to different dimensions.
- Its fun and its funny but it hasn’t gotten much attention, and this unrightfully so
- You kill spiders with a clipboard, fire, and everything else from laser beams to rocket launchers. What more could you want?
- Its currently 15 dollars and worth every penny because its just casual fun with a decent amount of humor
- The spiders make it a little scary at first but they aren’t too threatening. The music and sounds work nicely to amplify the fear
- There is currently an intro, a “base” level, and 3 exploration levels with 3 more incoming on the roadmap
- Yet to be released is the final boss, apparently a “spider god” in spider hell
- In trailers we have seen a lot of new weapons incoming as well. There is already a great diversity of weapons to use
- The gameplay specifically has a lot of exploring and “find the hidden objects” plus random objectives from platforming to stealth portions
- The biggest critique is the game is short, some players may beat it in an hour, while 100% completion will take closer to 10 hours
- The isn’t a lot of difficulty to the combat, nor was there many puzzles, which both look like missed opportunities
- It would benefit from more environments and destructible objects, but its overall just good casual fun
- Shooting spiders and having a good time while the game isn’t being too serious is refreshing. It doesn’t have to be Helldivers 2.
- Mid-Low poly and retro-ish graphics fit the humor and non-hardcore theme. Had a better time than expected.
